One of the main fact we like to mention is that Plaster is able to absorb a large amount of moisture because its crystal structure that works as pores. This humidity is released as the environment becomes dry (hot), for this reason Plaster has a great resistance to heat. This resistance makes it a great thermal insulator. That’s why it is important that when you are choosing materials for your projects look for those that limit the risk of fire propagation instead of combustible materials that contribute to fuel the flames.
